Virgin Media has said that Channel 4's high-defintion channel will appear on its platform tomorrow.

Ch4HD will be available on EPG slot 146 and will be available to all viewers.

This launch will come a day after MTVNHD, FX HD and National Geographic HD appeared on the cable operator's platform. On Monday ESPN's HD service will also appear on Virgin Media and a high definition version of Living is planned for the future.

Until now, Virgin has only carried BBC HD plus some HD on demand content.
