Bravo is to become less blokey.

The channel will move slightly away from full-on bloke TV and will introduce more factual entertainment and humour to its scheudles.

Bravo will commission shows which are less "blokier" in 2009 to serve its female viewers which make up more than 40% of the channel's audience. Formatted shows are on the agenda of channel boss Dave Clarks, as is factual entertainment.

Mr Clarks said: "[Bravo] is currently very male. There's a prepondarance of bloke TV - we played it very safe in the second half of 2008."

If Bravo is to become less blokey, does that mean Living will become less
femaley?
