ITV has axed children's art series Art Attack after 18 years.
The show, which won two Baftas, and is presented by Neil Buccanan, is the latest cutback within CITV and comes as ITV reduces the hours of the CITV channel at the weekend by ending programming at lunchtime in favour of extra hours for ITV4, with whom it shares channel space.

It is also believed that other CITV programmes have not been recommissioned and ITV controller Michael Grade indicated that it no longer made "commercial sense" to invest in children's programming.
