Iconic ITV wildlife series Survival is to return. ITV has ordered three episodes of the programme, which has not been seen for mor then ten years.

The programme will be hosted by wilderness expert Ray Mears and he will host three programmes which will follow three different preditors - bears, lepoards and the grey wolf.

Survival ran for more than 35 years and more than 800 programmes were produced until ITV stepped back from wildlife programming leaving the way for the BBC to become the world leader in nature programming.
