New music station has secured a temporary berth on Digital One.

The station, which launched in London in May, will broadcast nationally for eight months.

Sammy Jacob, NME Radio's managing and programme director, said: "Since launch, NME Radio has strived to increase distribution with constant requests for the station to be made available nationally on DAB. We are therefore delighted with this development as it will significantly increase the opportunity to listen to the station across the country. NME Radio is extremely passionate about the music it plays, especially the promotion of great new acts. Being able to share that passion with a wider audience will make it all the more worthwhile."

The station will launch on Digital One tomorrow morning at 7am and this launch means that there is just one space remaining on the Digital One network.
