Ofcom's latest licensing update.

This month, Ofcom has reawarded just one FM licence, to Oak FM, Loughborough. This station now has a licence to broadcast until 13 February 2016. The regulator has granted an extension to the Sotuh Yorkshire ILR licence, operated by Hallam FM/Magic AM. This licence has been granted a four year extension, giving Hallam/Magic a licence to broadcast until 30 September 2015.

Ofcom has received just one application for the Telford licence, from the current licencee Radio Telford Ltd. Radio Telford Ltd will therefore be invited to reapply for the licence using Ofcom's fast-track procedure.

Ofcom is now beginning the renewal process for the Oldham and Peterborough licenses, currently held by Revolution Radio and Connect FM respectively.
