Bauer has said that it will remove five of its seven digital radio stations from the Sky Digital platform. Q, Heat Radio, Kerrang, The Hits and Smash Hits will come off Sky at a date to be confirmed. Magic and Kiss will remain on the platform.

Travis Baxter, Bauer's director of strategy told radiotoday.co.uk "We're absolutely up to our necks in where we go with DAB. We have fantastic coverage and huge audiences on Freeview. We can't be in everything. We can't invest in every platform that's going."
