The BBC's High Definition channel has launched from today on Sky's EPG in Ireland.

It can be found on EPG number 143 alongside BBC 1 NI & BBC 2 NI. Previously BBC HD was only available via "Other Channels" and therefore Sky+ functionality would not work on the channel.

A number of the BBC's digital television services such as BBC 3, BBC 4 & BBC News are still unavailable on the Sky ROI EPG.
