The Stockland Hill transmitter in the west country has begun digital switchover. Viewers in the area served by the transmitter lost BBC2 analogu overnight on Wednesday and the remaining analogue stations will be swithced off overnight on the 20th May.

Stockland Hill covers the Exeter area along with parts of Devon, Somerset and Dorset.

This is the second south west transmitter to go digital following Beacon Hill making the change last month.
