The Stockland Hill transmitter and its 24 relays are now broadcasting only digital signals. This means that around 80,000 homes in the Exeter area and surrounding parts of Devon, west Cornwall and east Somerset, can receive Freeview for the very first time.

This is the third area to go through digital switchover and the second part of the south west following the switchover at the Beacon Hill transmitter and its relays. The remaining parts of the south west will undergo switchover during the summer.
