Digital switchover has begun in north Wales. Switchover began today for people in north west Wales who are served by the Llandonna transmitter meaning that more than 50,000 people will be able to receive digital terrestrial television for the first time.

The commencement of switchover in north Wales comes after switchover was completed in the southern half of the country. People in north west England will begin the switchover process next month.
