BT Vision has said that it is looking to drop Setanta Sports and replace it with ESPN following ESPN picking up the Premier League matches which Setanta lost when it failed to make its latest payment to the EPL.

In a statement, BT Vision said: ""BT Vision have entered into discussions with [ESPN] with a view to bringing these matches to our customers for the coming season.

"All BT Vision customers should retain their current Setanta Sports viewing card."

BT Vision announced last friday that it would stop selling Setanta Sports when Setanta lost its Premier League contract due to it defaulting on its latest payment.
