IP Vision has signed a deal with Sky to launch the Sky Player via IP Vision's Fetch TV service. The Sky Player will launch on the platform early next year and it will sit alongside the BBC iPlayer. IP Vision is also looking to add other partners to its service and is in talks with other content providers. IP Vision, through its Fetch TV service, offers a linear Freeview service alongside on demand content - a service similar to that offered by BT Vision. Boxes cost around £200 and they can be plugged into both a television set and a computer.
