Graham Norton has signed a new two-year deal with the BBC.

It is reported that the deal is worth £4 million, which would represent a pay cut of £500,000 per year.

A BBC spokesperson said: "We are delighted to be signing a new two-year deal with Graham Norton. He is a hugely talented and valued presenter at the BBC and we are thrilled to be continuing our relationship with him."

The BBC is under pressure to pay its top stars less money and the Corporation has already negotiated cheaper pay deals with, among others, Bruce Forsyth and Chris Moyles. All eyes will be on negotiations with Jonathan Ross as his current BBC deal, which was believed to have been worth £16.9 million over three years, expires in July.
